We’re Here to Answer Your Personal Savings Account Questions
What is a savings account?
A savings account is a safe place to store and grow your money. A savings account earns dividends on the funds in the account and can provide overdraft protection if your checking account has insufficient funds for a charge. You can deposit and withdraw funds from the account at any time. A savings account can be opened and maintained with a minimum deposit of $10 and it establishes your membership.
A savings account allows the member to earn dividends quarterly (the account must have an average daily balance of $100 to earn dividends) while giving them immediate access to their funds by using an ATM card.
Zelle® and the Zelle® related marks are wholly owned by Early Warning Services, LLC and are used herein under license.
1Membership eligibility is required. 2Transaction fees may be charged by owner of non-GECU ATMs. 3Standard text-messaging and data rates may apply through the wireless carrier.
