There is an active Caller ID spoofing scam that is targeting the El Paso, Texas, area, causing significant losses. Scammers impersonate trusted financial institutions' phone numbers, asking for your online banking login credentials and card information.
Stay safe by:
• Never sharing sensitive information over unexpected calls or texts
• Never clicking on suspicious links
• Hanging up and calling your financial institution directly using the official phone number from your financial institution’s website or card
• Being suspicious of urgent requests for money or information
